Weekly Tasting: Watching Washington!

Though sometimes eclipsed in the public eye by its neighbors to the south, Washington has a history of viticulture and winemaking dating back to the 1820s, when Italian and German immigrants are thought to have brought plantings of Cinsault to the Walla Walla region. Modern-day Washington's 14 AVAs play host to more than 600 wineries and a dizzying array of grapes, and we hope you'll join us as we pick apart the minds and vines behind some of the fabulous and eclectic Washington wines that we've chosen to work with here at Mayhew.
