Granadeiro Vinhos, "Tapada do Barao" Colheita Selecctionada, 2014

In the possession of the Granadeiro family since 2001, Monte dos Perdigões was once home to Damião de Góis and later generations of the illustrious composer Luis de Freitas Branco, a musician who composed some of his most remarkable works here. Since always a place marked by artistic sensitivity and free thinking.

With a long and recognized career in the public and private sector, Henrique Granadeiro has long established ties with the wine industry, in particular through the functions he holds at the head of the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation.
Since 2001 he has launched a project that is faithful to this old passion: the creation of wines. Passion that today leads to its maximum expression, in the heart of the region that saw it born, with the creation of the author's wines to which it gives its knowledge and its name.

The wine has the color of Pomegranate with violet reflections. On the nose you get ripe black fruit and spices. As the wine continues on the palate it is silky, fresh and ripe. It finished with soft tannins and good acidity.
