Joseph LANDRON is inspired by the old winemaking processes on lees: the whole grapes picked manually are pressed by native yeasts to collect only the best juice. After decanting, the juice ferments slowly in vats for 15-20 days. The wine is aged on fermentation lees until bottled 7 to 12 months later. For some cuvées, such as Amphibolite nature, bottling is done earlier and by gravity directly from the tank height where Muscadet has fermented. This traditional method retains all the freshness and finesse of authentic Muscadet Sèvre and Maine.
With the “Atmospheres” there is a racy citrus and fresh peachy fruit and lots of rocky, earthy complexity, all wrapped up in a deliciously bready texture. The crunchy-fresh finish also makes it extremely food friendly.
