The farm, with the characteristic name Colombaio, was a property of the Biondi Santi
family,  which since then has obtained one of the best Brunellos in the area. Sergio Rossi, who bought it in 1976, restructured it completely respecting the original environment and shortly thereafter, in 1978 he created and spread the La Gerla brand.

In La Gerla, despite the great development and the many changes, 
they continue to give importance to man and feelings, nature and taking care of the earth naturally.

The Brunello presents notes of: chopped herb, wild berry, spice and truffle aromas slowly take shape in the glass. The palate shows both concentration and elegance, offering fleshy raspberry, crushed cherry, licorice and crushed mint flavors, bolstered by firm but refined tannins.
